"Lost City" Discovered in the Libyan Desert

So far, the team found 100 regions fortifiedfarms, villages, and castle-like structure with walls that still remains as high as 4 meters, and the city landscape. The city was estimated tostand at 1 to 500 AD. The team also found aburial pyramid, and sophisticated irrigationsystems.
"It's like someone who came to England andfound the Palace of the Middle Ages. The existence of this ancient settlement wasrecorded during the reign of Gaddafi regime,"said project leader, David Mattingly, as the site loaded science, Our Amazing Science, 7 November 2011.
